VISIBILITY FOR FEMALE FOUNDERS OF START-UPS
Hello,
My name is Anne Ropion (Arpanénette for friends) and I created LesFemmesduWeb (Women of the Web) in order to offer more visibility to women who are launching online activities.
The aim is to make a link between all the lists of female founders of websites, worldwide.
I also created an international version called i-FeSt (no more available due to a lack of time). But a google map is still online and a Twitter account too.
So, if you are in India, Norway, Scotland, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Canada, Poland, Australia, South Africa, South Korea, etc., etc., just join the project: either you have already done such a list for your own country and then I can add the URL of your own portal, or you can add the URL of your 2.0 website in the MAP here.
In a short time, this site will share information, with a particular focus on Ecology – because if technologies are nice tools, what is their interest if we continue to destroy our planet? And a second focus on those who make a commitment to advance things concerning the women (discrimination, access to education, and so on…).
